As far as I know, currently, the ctrl + tab (or ctrl + shift + tab) cycle tabs through the order shown in the tab bar. It would be nice to cycle the tabs in the recently used order.
This is useful when you have multiple tabs opened but you are using mostly only 2, if those tabs are too distant from each other, having to cycle multiple unused tabs is not convenient.
