Unfortunately, this functionality is not easily implementable, since our program contains a lot of encrypted properties, which would require you to unlock them via touchID.
Apart from the regular document encryption function, you can try out the 'lockdown' functionality, with which you can set the passwords to not be revealed in the selected document.

It would be awesome if I could require authentication to use a saved credential. It's great to have the document encrypted, but once the document is open, the saved passwords are viewable and usable on any device. Having on-access protection on the saved credentials would be a nice extra layer of security.
If this could be a touchid prompt, it would be ideal for my use case.
