[featue request]open new tab next to the last active tab

I've changed behavior of double-click on a connection to Connect Ad Hoc, so when I double-click on a tab, it will open a new tab and connect to the same host, but one thing inconvenient is that the new tab is always the last tab, i'd prefer the new tab is next to the last active tab which is also I double-clicked one.
