well, yes, that's a limitation of the technique. Currently there's no way around having the toolbar enabled.
In a future version of Royal TSX we might be able to add a new menu bar item for this case (in addition to the toolbar item) so that shortcuts work regardless of the toolbar's state. However, this is not trivial as we have to take performance considerations into account as it's quite expensive to render the whole documents menu.

Hello! I have set hotkeys for my connections following https://support.royalapps.com/support/solutions/articles/17000027817 . The feature is so cool and I like it very much!
And when toolbar is at the display state, all hotkeys work. But once the toolbar is hidden, all the hotkeys will fail.
I used to hide the toolbar. Can you think about keeping keyboard shortcuts working when toolbar is hidden?
