File transfer: Do not set current timestamp

1 Download a file from a remote server

2 Actual result: the downloaded file has a timestamp with the current date.

3 Expected result: the timestamp doesn't change.

Please do not change the timestamp when downloading the file. It should keep its timestamp from the remote server.

Best regards,

Julian

Hi Julian,

this is already supported. Just open the properties of your file transfer connection, go to "Advanced - Timestamps" and enable the relevant options.

Hi Felix,

thank you, I found it and it's working.

Is there a way to configure this for ad-hoc connections, too?

Most of our connections are stored as SSH connections, and we are using file transfer mostly based on these connections.

Best regards,

Julian

Hi Julian,

since ad hoc connections are based on default settings you can just adjust the "File Transfer" default settings and have them applied to your ad hoc connections.

Hope that helps!

Hi Felix,

I tried that, but advanced settings are not available here, right?

Hi Julian,

you can find the default settings in the "Navigation Panel" under "Application - Default Settings". Just expand the "Default Settings" folder and open the properties of the "File Transfer" object.

Hope that helps!
