Terminal connection - Auto-select USB-to-serial adapter on macOS

It would be awesome if the TSX app could automatically select the right serial adapter on my Mac when using a console connection using terminal connection.
Perhaps I could specify the USB-to-serial device using wildcard?
Something like "/dev/tty.usbserial-*" which would either select my "tty.usbserial-A505HNN3" or "tty.usbserial-DN03CU2I" adapter based on which one is actually connected and which I have on me on that day.
