Rebex Terminal not Following Windows Color Scheme

Hello, I'm one of the maintainer of the Royal TS Catppuccin theme and we've got this issue we're unable to fix https://github.com/gravelfreeman/royalts-catppuccin/issues/5

Under Options > Appearance > Color Scheme Mode > Follow Windows Color Scheme

This will work great for the interface but the terminal. The option to setup light and dark terminal themes is missing.

Currently it's looking like this:

I want to emphasize the importance of this request because, for the end user, it genuinely feels like Royal TS is broken. I understand if the theme doesn’t follow PuTTY since it’s a third-party application. However, Rebex is the default and officially supported terminal in Royal TS. Many users, including myself, have been advised on the forum that certain features may not work with other terminals.


I switched to Rebex and adjusted my workflow specifically to use a supported terminal and avoid issues like this. Accessibility is crucial, and not having the correct color scheme during the day and night makes things challenging. I’m really looking forward to seeing this fixed.

unfortunately this is currently not possible. The UI theming supports light and dark mode but terminal palettes are not "theme aware" at the moment. Maybe we can support this in the future.
