Set credentials to entire folders/subfolders stored connection

I have imported a RDG document into RoyalTS that contains several folders and subfolders. Is there a simple/quick way to set all the stored RDP connections in these folder and subfolders to use a specific set of credentials? Something like RDC already does: https://blog.devolutions.net/2016/7/inheriting-credentials-in-remote-desktop-manager

Hi Raffaele,

you can use our bulk-edit functionality to quickly apply your settings - also credential settings - to your existing objects. Here's a knowledge base article which may help you: https://support.royalapplications.com/support/solutions/articles/17000027858-bulk-edit-and-the-folder-dashboard-win-

Hope this helps! If you need anything else, please let me know.

Hello Patrik, I tried to follow that procedure but after selecting multiple folders (or connections in a subfolder) from the dashboard view, the credentials drop down is grayed out. Any suggestion?

Ok thanks Patrik, I was missing the "Bulk Edit" button on the top right. That's useful, however I still have to go inside each folder and bulk modify the content as there is no "inherit" feature.

You're welcome, Raffaele! Exactly, you need to use the "Bulk Edit" right on the top to define what sort of changes you want to apply on your objects. As seen on the knowledge base article I've linked before you have also the possibility to show all objects even from subfolders by enabling this setting in the Dashboard using the gear icon right on the top.

Thank you Patrik that did the trick. Apologize for having overlooked it!
