I noticed that the concept already exists in Royal TS, either through ( creating a subdirectory with the connection name ) or using tokens. So the foundation is there , it just needs a small enhancement to implement this specific feature
The point is that when I use ( Replacement Tokens ) like ( C:\Sessions\$CustomField1$-$CustomField2$-$Name$-$URI$ ) , the result is the log file with the old name ( timestamp-connectionname ) inside a directly with the ( Replacement Tokens ) name , Which quite similer to enabling option ( ( creating a subdirectory with the connection name )
But What I'm looking for is to change the log file name itself
SAM
Hello
I've asked you before if i can make the tab name like ( Folder name \ Subfolder \ connection name ) and you said it's not possible for Royal TS to detect the Folder name automaticly
So , in order to have a nice name in the tab , I'm using the customer field
So I can have tab name like this
The problem is that , the most important option for me is the logging as text file
however , the problem is that the text file name that's created have very bad name like ( 20250506095008-HLR dataserver 1 )
Which in the end if I have many logs in the same time , I get lost ,
I assume the file name should be Similer to the tab name ?
Since you already have an option to create sub directory with the connection name
why don't you add an option to to make the file name = the connection name
