the read-only properties of dynamic folder objects is by design. If you need more control over the creation of objects and additional logic to decide what to set / overwrite, you should consider building documents using our PowerShell module:

I would very much like to be able to modify objects in a Dynamic Folder, and choose whether or not my modifications will be overwritten with the next reload.
