we could implement something like that but we rather prefer the discussions/feature requests to be public. Therefore it's necessary to register an account here and submit the feedback on this forums. Having it public enables other users to join the discussion and notify the users once there's an update.
Integrating it into the app would be a better user experience for sure but it's not easy to integrate it in a way to utilize the public forums here. Account registration/session logon and APIs are a bit limited.

Give that the engagement here is quite low, perhaps it would be better to have something in app to allow people to engage with feature requests. Even a small popup of "popular feature requests" with a set of check-boxes and a submit button would probably be useful
