Installation Directory
Can be changed during the MSI installer wizard.
Default directory is: %ProgramFiles(x86)%\code4ward.net\Royal TS V4
Purpose: Contains required application files
Configuration Path
Can be changed in RoyalTS.exe.config in the installation directory.
Default directory is: %APPDATA%\code4ward
Purpose: Contains settings like application document (code4ward.RoyalTS.UserPreferences.config), application and plugin-related settings, ribbon customization (code4ward.RoyalTS.RibbonSettings-[version].xml).
Local Configuration Path
Can be changed in RoyalTS.exe.config in the installation directory.
Default directory is: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Royal TS V4
Purpose: Contains files which may be used by the application like: EasyHook.dlls (needed for the Overview tab to display realtime RDP connection thumbnails). Those DLLs will be downloaded/installed when the user switches to the Overview tab and confirms the download of the DLLs using the yellow information banner. To avoid versioning conflicts, the subdirectory "Royal TS V4" will always be appended to the configured path.
Temporary Files
Can be changed in RoyalTS.exe.config in the installation directory.
Default directory is: %TEMP%\Royal TS V4
Purpose: Contains application or plugin temporary files like: RoyalTS_PuTTY32|64.exe or RoyalTS_Chromium_WP.exe as well as temporary browser files for Chrome based web page connections. To avoid versioning conflicts, the subdirectory "Royal TS V4" will always be appended to the configured path.
Note: Royal TS will try to delete this directory with all its contents when it is closed.
