Problem:

When you want to use the Hyper-V module to manage your local VMs, the list stays empty and you get an error in the log:

User credentials cannot be used for local connections.

By default, only local administrators can manage Hyper-V VMs.

Solution:

Add the user, that runs Royal TS to the local Windows Group "Hyper-V Administrators" and logout/login.

Another way is to run Royal TS elevated (with administrative privileges).

Also please note, that if you try to manage your local machine from Royal TS WMI contraints apply (see http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn282274.aspx)
