Issue:
When you've pinned the Royal TS application to your taskbar, the icon will revert to a generic "white" icon after you upgraded your Royal TS version using the MSI installer.
Cause:
This is unfortunately a known issue caused by the Windows Installer and cannot be fixed on our end because Microsoft does not provide any programmatic means to access the pinned taskbar icons - only users are allowed to manipulate this.
Because an update is basically an uninstall of the old version and installation of the new version, the taskbar icon is lost.
Solution / Workaround:
If you use the same installation directory during the upgrade, the fix is very easy. You should still be able to launch Royal TS using the "seemingly broken" taskbar icon. Click to launch and when Royal TS is up and running, right-click on the taskbar icon to un-pin and immediately re-pin the application to the taskbar.
