From the forum reply I think that depending on your target host, it may be still possible to use the rebex plugin if the target host switches to a different emulation (compatibility mode).
I'm also not sure if PuTTY is supporting this terminal type. If you have an application which support this, you might be able to integrate it using the external application connection:
