Credential picker improvement - Specify a credential name

The credential picker "Specify a credential name" does not provide the same functionality as the credential picker "Use an existing credential" (search field and path / vault of the credentials).

This is a problem when using 1Password with the Python script and a high credential count because "Use an existing credential" can't be used with multiple users / shared documents.

Hi Felix,

that's great!

I'm looking forward for the release.

Best Regards,

Stefan

Hi Stefan,

a new beta that includes the changes has now been released.

Please give it a try and let me know how it works for you!

thx,

Felix

Hi Felix,

thanks for the update.

We tested the change and the UI improvement is great and really helpful.

We also noticed that a credential selection (pre-filtered) will pop up if there are multiple credentials with the same name. So overall a naming convention and change of the existing credentials would be required to get it to the "old" behavior.

Best Regards and thanks for the fast update,

Stefan

Hi Stefan,

yes, the credential prompt is to be expected if you have multiple credentials with the same name.

We recommend to uniquely name objects in Royal TS/X, no matter if you're assigning credentials by ID or by name to avoid confusion.

cheers,

felix
