Filter in FTP File view

Hi,


It would be great if the file list view in TSX could have some filter mechanism implemented. I believe such a feature exists for Royal TS but Royal TSX lacks this same feature.

I'm happy to report, that the upcoming update for Royal TSX will include a filter box for file transfer connections.

I can't tell you an exact release date, however keep your eyes peeled, since it shouldn't take too long from now.

This is great!


Some suggestion would be:


  • Perhaps the textbox/entryfield could be a little bit wider?
  • Can we have a popup-window to do some advanced filtering, like regex for example and some options like ignore case or anything like you would like to have in advanced filtering?

Ok, thanks. Would be cool to have a popup window where I can set some search characteristics can be set, such as "Search/filter is regexp" or "Allow wildcards" and "Search/filter is case insensitive" and so on.

Perhaps on some backlog of options to consider for future releases?


In the meantime, I can finally filter the list so I'm happy! :-)

if you don't mind, it would be great if you created a separate thread regarding the Regex/Wildcard search in the ideas forum.

Then I would mark this thread as 'Implemented' as soon as the stable build is released.
