Favorite inheritance

We use Royal TS intensively every day. Every technician has created his customers including the systems in Royal TS. RDP, SSH, HTTPs etc. If a technician wants to mark "his" customers as favorites, he must mark each folder / subfolder / RDP, SSH, HTTPs connection individually as a favorite. Is there a possibility to inherit the favorites in a folder including subfolders?

Customer name (Favorite)

- server

- Physically

--- Connection 01

--- Connection 02

--- Connection 03

- Virtual

--- Connection 01

--- Connection 02

--- Connection 03

- clients

--- Connection 01

--- Connection 02

--- Connection 03

- MGMT

--- Connection 01

--- Connection 02

--- Connection 03

-Webpages

--- Connection 01

--- Connection 02

--- Connection 03

- etc.

Hi Daniel,

the behavior you see is actually by design. If you search or filter the navigation panel using text or favorites/connection state will always expand the results, so that you can see all results. In the filtered state, the expansion state of the folders are not persisted, thus you see it expanded every time you filter it again.

Hi Stefan,

thank you for the solution!

That's right, I can mark everything as favorites via the dashboard.

But if you click on the favorites symbol, all folders down to the lowest level are always opened.

Every time you click on the favorites symbol (even if I have adjusted it once, it happens again and again)

Shift and collapse also does not work in favorites ...

Is that a "bug"?

Thank you for your help :)

An Option to not expand Folders would be great!

Hi!

inheritance for favorites is not possible but with the bulk-edit feature you can quickly change the favorite state from the dashboard. See:
