Template based connection should update when template changes

Is this possible right now?
At this point I have a template and when I create a new connection based on it, the connection will not update if I change any of the settings in the template.
It would be nice (and sounds logical to me) that anything that is not overwritten in the connection keeps basing its value on what is in the template.
This makes it easier to modify a font for all connections, or for example change a color or any other option, but it seems that this is not the case at the moment

Hi Steve,
no, that's not the way templates work. When you add a new connection based on a template, the settings will be "frozen" at that point of time.

If you need to update multiple objects at once, please have a look at our bulk-edit feature: https://www.royalapplications.com/go/kb-ts-mac-bulkedit

I discovered the bulk edit video shortly after I posted this indeed... Looks like the easier way to go.
What is the intended use of templates then, seeing that there is a set of Default Values and this Bulk Edit mode? Not much else I can think of.

Hi Steve,
you can read more about the various use cases for templates in this blog post: http://blog.royalapplications.com/2012/05/18/new-feature-templates/
Although it was originally written when the Mac version didn't exist, the core concepts still apply to Royal TSX.
